Travels For You is an independent Dutch travel organization that is mainly specialized in cycle holidays and barge cruises in Europe. From 1990 on we offer our international clientele a wide choice in attractive, interesting and small-scale holidays.

Just 10 kilometres from the North Sea coast and close to Amsterdam, you’ll find Alkmaar. This lovely provincial town has an historic centre full of canals, a traditional centuries-old cheese market, and a lively shopping scene. You’ll certainly like the charm and unspoiled atmosphere of old Dutch town of Alkmaar! The bike and boat tour ‘North of Amsterdam’ includes a visit and stay here.

Many of the boats that do the Bike and Boat Tours were originally inland vessels. They were altered into comfortable passenger ships for our cycling holidays. Attractive double cabins with private facilities, a sundeck for your relaxed moment after cycling, a saloon full of atmosphere to enjoy the delicious meals and of course you’ll be pampered by the hospitable crew and tour leader!
