A good day to get lost in Dordrecht. 👀

Sitting between rivers and waterways, Dordrecht is one of the oldest cities in the Netherlands, and its history is still easy to spot. Think centuries-old buildings, historic harbours, narrow streets and plenty of views across the water. Wander through the old city centre, take a look at the Grote Kerk and follow the streets towards the harbour. No strict itinerary needed here.

What happens to all those locally grown ingredients once they reach the kitchen? 👨‍🍳 Sven Ornelis continues his visit to Vaderland in Van Gogh National Park in North Brabant, this time joining chef Joep in the restaurant. The menu follows the seasons, using produce grown on the farm alongside ingredients from local producers.

Sven gets a look inside the kitchen and, of course, gets to taste the result. 🍽️

What does VisitBrabant taste like? Sven Ornelis is finding out. This time, Sven visits Vaderland in Nederwetten, located in Van Gogh National Park. Here, farmer Lianne and chef Joep bring the land and the kitchen together. Vegetables and herbs are grown right on the farm, while other ingredients come from producers nearby. What ends up on the menu depends on what the land and the season have to offer. 🥕🍽️ It’s another side of Van Gogh National Park, where nature, local produce and the stories of North Brabant come together.
