Driving from Trollstigen to Valldal? Don't miss strawberry season. 🍓 It is NOW!
Valldal is Norway's strawberry valley and for a few weeks each summer, roadside stalls sell freshly picked strawberries. The sweeeeeetest you will ever taste.😍
Grab a punnet and taste why these strawberries are famous across Norway.

🍒Now is also the season for cherries. Stop by the farm shop at Lingebakken frukt & sider if you are nearby Valldal. If you come later this autumn you can also buy apples, pears and juices.

Stay the night in Valldal, or make a detour to Tafjord –like Geiranger, also on the UNESCO world heritage list. Enjoy kayaking, hiking, biking or just the view!

🏖 Just minutes from Ålesund, the islands of Vigra and Giske offer long stretches of sand with plenty of room to spread out, for swimming, picnics, playing or a slow walk by the sea.

⚽️Three players in Norway's male World Cup squad grew up right here in Møre og RO-msdal:

🧤 Ørjan Håskjold Nyland from Volda – home to some of Norway's finest viking shipbuilding traditions, with mountains to climb and ski, and fjords to kayak.

🛡️ Leo Skiri Østigård from Åndalsnes – surrounded by the RO-msdal mountains, rising like a natural defence system and offering challenges in every direction.

⚡ Fredrik Aursnes from Hareid – known for the Viking battle of Hjørungavåg, and a long history of explorers and innovators.

Powerful, yet calm. Maybe these three are Møre og RO-msdal in football form? 😉
