I have officially found my most favourite cruise port in the Fjords to date. In fact quite possibly from a picturesque perspective, my most favourite cruise port - period.

We didn’t do a massive amount, we just enjoyed being - and looking at the spectacular views!

We visited the church, and watched the still waters of the Fjords and the wild waters of the waterfall.

Oh and we ate the most incredible ice cream ever. Imagine the best whippy, then make it more creamy! 🍦

Then back on board for tapas and wine and now on to our last port of call that’s also a new one for me. My third time on this cruise and we’ve never yet managed to get to Haugesund before because of bad weather. So hopefully third time lucky!

Today has always been a favourite of mine on this cruise itinerary.

We started with a 6am alarm to be out on deck for the stunning sail in through the Fjords to Olden and it didn’t disappoint.

After a fabulous cooked breakfast we got off the ship and headed to our bus to take us over to the Loen Sky Lift (one of the steepest cable cars 🚠 in the world). We timed it beautifully as we knew there would be some cloud blocking the views first thing. The views were incredible and the coffee and cinnamon roll at 1100 meters up Mt Hoven made it even nicer!

A mooch around some of the shops and a last look at the stunning views made for a fabulous end to the day before lining up for the very special sail away hosted by the locals. (IYKYK but I won’t spoil it for anyone who wants to be surprised on a future cruise).

Tomorrow is a new port for me - Hellesylt - so I’m excited to check it out!

After a relaxing day yesterday, where I ate and drank a little more than was necessary, shopped and spent an hour in the hot tub watching the mill pond-like North Sea glistening in the sunshine, today we docked in the beautiful port of Stavanger.

The ship docked right in the centre of the harbour so exploring, regardless of how mobile you are, was really easy.

We wandered through the old town, drank coffee and ate cake, mooched around the market, did a fabulous virtual reality Viking experience and walked through the most beautiful residential streets right next to the ship.

My third time here and I love it more and more each time I come.

To finish off the day, we were entertained by the Stavanger Gospel Company who (yet again) made me tear up uncontrollably.

This evening will be more eating, drinking and being entertained by the fabulous talent onboard this ship.

Tomorrow is the early start of the cruise. A 5am get up to witness the morning mist and sunrise as we creep slowly through the Fjords for a few hours to the stunning port of Olden for a day of incredible adventure. Tune in tomorrow for the next round of pics!

Happy Friday lovely people! 🥳

I hope you've all had a good week and are looking forward to a great weekend. It's been a crazy busy booking week for me but I am very grateful to do what I do and thankful for you all.

🚢⚓🌊 I'm definitely looking forward to the weekend as I'm boarding another ship. But this time, I'll still be on board when it leaves port! I'll be sailing on P&O's beautiful Iona from Southampton tomorrow for another cruise on her to the stunning Norwegian Fjords (yes it is my third time but who's counting?). 🗻🌄🚠

Of course I will be posting pics on here. I am so thrilled with how popular cruising has become and how more and more people are thinking of it as the future way to holiday!

So, more ship pics, food pics, ocean pics and generally pics of everything this stunning ship has to offer.

What a fabulous day onboard Virgin Voyages’ Valiant Lady! 🚢 I LOVE my job!

The ship is really beautiful, with cleverly designed, comfortable spaces, incredible food, and friendly and welcoming crew.

I’ve taken soooo much video footage and as soon as I’ve edited it I’ll share it for you on here, but in the meantime as promised - here’s some pics. Isn’t she gorgeous? ♥️

I spoke to quite a few ‘Sailors’ on board who without exception, said what a fabulous cruise they were having.

Tomorrow, I'm thrilled to be a guest of Virgin Voyages spending the day exploring one of their incredible cruise ships.

Universal’s Epic Universe 🎢

This place is amazing! It’s really well thought out, has some incredible theming, and with the exception of one area, never feels crazy busy.

You enter into Celestial Park, the central hub with lots of shops, dining, water features and fabulous landscaping. From this central space, you enter through portals into four completely separate worlds:

Super Nintendo World
This is a shock to the senses and from the three separate times I’ve visited the park - it always feels busy but it’s fantastic and the kids love it! Attractions include interactive experiences and rides based on iconic characters.

How to Train Your Dragon - Isle of Berk
Based on the popular DreamWorks franchise, this land is full of vikings and dragons and fun rides.

Dark Universe
An entire area dedicated to classic Universal Monsters and a must see for fans of horror and adventure!

Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Ministry of Magic
This is just incredible with a fabulous show and an attraction that just the entrance has everyone’s jaws dropping!

A definite must do for any Orlando trip!

I’m back and refreshed from my holiday (albeit a little jet lagged)! As promised I’ll be posting some pics from my recent visit to the incredible and newest Universal theme park ‘Epic Universe’. It really is - well - Epic!

I’m so excited to have lots of you jetting off this month now that the summer holidays are in full swing! And in other news, I’m also very excited to be going on a couple of really fabulous cruise ships over the next few weeks (you know how I love a cruise ship) so look out for lots of pics on those!
