Happy Easter! In many Scandinavian countries on the Thursday prior to Easter Sunday, children dress up as witches and “go witching” to neighbouring houses, where they exchange their homemade Easter letters with drawings and greetings for candy and small gifts. As we do here, people enjoy a holiday weekend with friends and family 🐣💙

Bergen's Fløibanen reopens today! For several years Fløibanen have been working with plans for upgrading cars, machinery, and modifications of their stations so that they will be universally designed. Even though the cars were in excellent state, they were 20 years old. That means it was time to replace the cars.

The renovation has been extensive, and withe Fløibanen now reopened, the new cars offer a 35% larger capacity, and the renovated stations will be more efficient and accessible for strollers, wheelchairs etc.
