Hey everyone,
After a brief break, my Coastal Ferry Guidebook is back online for sale.
I never expected this book to be so successful, and I'm truly grateful for it! The whole experience got a little overwhelming, so we had to restructure how we post our books and handle hotel drop-offs.
But the book is back and ready for you to order :)

Exploring Gamla Stan in Stockholm ❤️

Gamla Stan is the “old town” in Stockholm; it’s where the city was founded in 1252, and has more or less been preserved, with the oldest buildings dating to the 16th century.

We are currently (temporarily) out stock. Because it's doing so well, I've decided to use a local printing company here in Bergen - I'd rather be 100% made locally than outsourced overseas. The new books will be ready no later than the 13th of March, and will have a better-protected cover, lighter pages, and richer colours.

I will post again on Facebook when the books are ready for order.

Incredible sunset in Brønnøysund today! On the southbound journey, it’s often dismissed as a “boring” town, but I love just wandering around. The scenery here is also so special ❤️

Day 6 feels truly remote — this is the far north in all its raw beauty 🌊❄️

We wake up in Havøysund, before cruising through the scenic Magerøysundet — dramatic, quiet, and unmistakably Arctic.

The ship then docks in Honningsvåg, gateway to one of Norway’s most famous landmarks. In the video, I share:
• What to see and do in Honningsvåg during the stop
• A visit to North Cape
• Why this place feels so special when you finally stand there

From here, the landscape opens right up as we sail into the Barents Sea, calling at some of the most remote ports on the entire route:
• Kjøllefjord
• Mehamn
• Berlevåg

This is the day when civilisation feels distant, the sea feels bigger, and the journey really shows its northern edge.

Day 5 brings us deep into the Arctic — and it’s a standout 🚢❄️

We wake up in Harstad with beautiful views across the water to Trondenes Church — a peaceful start to the day before more stunning coastal sailing.

After a brief stop in Finnsnes, the ship arrives in Tromsø for a generous four-hour stay. Known as the Arctic Capital, this stop gives plenty of time to step ashore and explore.

In this video, I share:
• What to see and do in Tromsø during the port stop
• How to make the most of your time in town
• Why Tromsø is such a highlight of the voyage

The day winds down with scenic sailing north to Skjervøy, the final stop of the day — calm seas, open views, and that unmistakable feeling of being far above the Arctic Circle.

📍 The journey continues, further north than ever

Day 5 on Norway’s Coastal Ferry!

You wake up in Harstad, with excellent views out to Trondenes Church - the northernmost medieval church in the world. The sailing all day is spectacular, with a stop in Finnsnes and views to Senja. The ship spends a whole four hours in Tromsø, providing plenty of time to go exploring. The rest of the evening is spent sailing to Skjervøy, the last port of the day.

Day 4 on Norway’s Coastal Ferry!

The journey starts by crossing the Arctic Circle early in the morning, and then having a scenic approach to Ørnes. After Ørnes, it’s time for the Arctic Circle Ceremony. After lunch, the ship docks in Bodø for a couple hours, giving plenty of time to explore the town. The evening is spent in the famous Lofoten Islands, stopping in Stamsund and Svolvær.
