Bugøynes in NORDIS

It’s always lovely when guests take home good memories – and even better when they share them with others.

✨ The Northern Lights are dancing over Bugøynes! 🌌

Our chef Fern captured some pretty amazing Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) on camera just a few days ago! 📸💚

🌠 Aurora season begins in September and lasts until the end of March.

You don’t have to go far to enjoy the magic — the night sky can be observed all around Bugøynes. 🌙⭐ There are also some great, darker spots just a short walk away from the village lights. 🚶‍♀️🌌

Join a King crab safari or Fjordsafari with our steady RIB boats. The sceneries are serene - you might also see different sea birds, sea eagles, seals or porpoises. Floatation suits are included - and we have several departures a week.

Bugøynes offers gentle walks and steaper climbs to your liking. There are many nice sightseeing cliffs surrounding the village. Or if you prefer, longer marked trails to Ranvika, Bugøynestoppen or along the coastline. Enjoy the sea breeze, round cliffs, arctic vegetation, birds, eagles. You might even bump into a fox or reindeer.
