Over the past few weeks, the world has fallen a little more in love with Norway. 🇳🇴

The unforgettable “Ro, ro, ro” rowing movement reminded us that this country is about so much more than breathtaking landscapes. It reflects who we are: a place built on community, tradition, warmth, and togetherness.

Visitors may come for the fjords, mountains, and Northern Lights, but they leave with memories of the people they meet, the stories they hear, and the genuine connections they make along the way.

🇳🇴 HAPPY CONSTITUTION DAY 🇳🇴

May 17th is Norway’s National Day, also known as “Syttende Mai.” It celebrates the Norwegian constitution signed in 1814 📜

Across the country, people enjoy parades with children, music, and Norwegian flags.

Many wear traditional clothing called bunad. Families and friends gather together to celebrate the day ❤️The streets are full of happiness, ice cream, and marching bands.

Unlike many national days, the focus is mainly on children and community.

Bryggen feels magical after dark ✨warm lights reflecting on the wooden façades and that cosy, storybook atmosphere settling in just before Christmas.🎄

Bryggen, Bergen’s old wharf, was once a major Hanseatic trading hub. Despite several fires, it has always been rebuilt in traditional style, preserving its historic wooden charm.

Today, 62 colourful buildings remain as a rare glimpse of Northern Europe’s old wooden towns.

Autumn in Vesterålen is a time to enjoy the delicious flavors of the region. And so we did!
We got an invitation to participate in a fam trip - and of course we said yes please🍁🤎

Aurora Borealis greeted us upon arrival and we got to enjoy a meal of local seafood.

Fresh halibut, arctic char and the traditional bokna fish, are some of the many highlights in this area.
