Gratuler WIND Naval Architects med ny kontrakt og bygging av tiramaran👍👍👍
Earlier this week we had the pleasure of attending the keel laying ceremony of the WIND Flyer Trimaran Fast Crew Boat at Marsun Public Company Limited in Bangkok, Thailand.
This latest trimaran is designed by Wind Naval Architects in collaboration with Marsun Public Company Limited, with Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd., Uniwise Offshore and Aesen. It offers a combination of multiple advanced features that will be a game-changer for offshore operations.
This project will produce a new 35-metre Trimaran for the oil and gas industry. It is designed to operate effectively in challenging wave conditions, up to 2.5 meters both during transfer and transit, significantly increasing operational availability while still maintaining ample cargo and fuel capacity for a variety of offshore tasks.
The three slender hulls of the trimaran, combined with motion damping foils offer high-speed transit operation of 34 knots while reducing motion sickness and minimizing fatigue to provide a much smoother ride. The hull is specially designed to be Semi-Small Water Plane (Semi-SWATH) to increase safety during transfer passage to/from offshore platforms.
