Are you visiting us in june? Then you should definitely join us for the festival Pederhusveka at Pederhuset. Where music, dance and Norwegian culture will give you the true experience of Gloppen! 19th - 21st June.

⛺️ Stay at the beautiful camping site, Reed camping , where you will wake up to the sound of nature and view of mountains and the big lake. Start your morning with a cold dip, before you warm up in Reed Sauna!

Start your morning off by visiting Holvikejekta – a clinker-built freight vessel from 1881 – which truly is one-of-a-kind.

In the jekt hall exhibition, you get an insight into how the jekt trade in Western Norway happened through organisation, construction and use. What is a jekt, and how did the Bergen trade work?⛵️

Getting hungry? Stop by Vereide Bakeri As for some lunch. Choose between delicious sandwiches, pizza, pastries, cakes and ice cream. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the sun, or bring your lunch down to the waterfront by the fjord.

Do you want to get some real, Norwegian souvenirs from your visit? At Gloppebua you will find a big selection of locally knitted clothes and decor, as well as wood carved bowls🧤

At Sølvane Gard you can experience opera concerts, dinners and tasting events, like wine- or whiskey tasting.

🍓 When you wake up in one of the mini cabins, located in Påldtun frukt og bær’s beautiful fruit garden, it will feel like a dream!

Enjoy the view and your morning coffee at the terrace, go for a stroll between the apple trees and raspberries or take a morning dip in the fjord.

🥾 Continue your day with a hike in Trivselsskogen. Explore the forest, see the waterfall at Fosseteateret, walk through the love forest (Kjærleiksskogen) and see all the hearts before taking well deserved break at Draumekvila.

🧁 On your way back through the city centre, the smell of fresh bread and pastries will lead you to Lauget. Enjoy their delicious lunch and sweet treats in the sun!

Are you joining us for the Norwegian country festival 8.-12.july? We can’t wait!

🤠 We are so excited to dance, sing and experience one of the biggest highlights of the summer, Norsk Countrytreff!

Wh**ey Morgan and the 78’s, Alana Springsteen, Hellbillies and Rotlaus are just some of all the amazing bands and artist’s that are ready for the festival.

🧖‍♀️ How about cooling off and warming up between concerts at Reed Sauna. Located by Breimsvatnet, you can enjoy this beautiful sauna with cold dips in the fresh, blue water.
