One last look at the iconic mountains of Bora Bora before things get a little more Greek… 🇵🇫➡️🇬🇷

We’re saying goodbye to our unforgettable French Polynesia adventure with Aranui Cruises and heading into two weeks of Greek yacht life with Elixir Cruises.

Tomorrow we fly from London Heathrow to Athens, ready to return to Elysium for our first week before stepping aboard Gemaya for something completely new.

So yes… we’re going from remote islands, turquoise lagoons and the wild landscapes of Polynésie française to hidden coves, whitewashed villages and considerably more tzatziki.

Think Bora Bora, Tahiti, French Polynesia, la Polinesia Francesa and Französisch-Polynesien… followed by Greece, the Aegean Sea, îles grecques, griechische Inseln and islas griegas.

French Polynesia, you really were the adventure of a lifetime.

A week today, we’re back where we belong 🇬🇷🛥️

We’ll be setting sail with Elixir Cruises once again, returning to Elysium for a week of hidden coves, tiny Greek islands, long lunches and swimming straight from the yacht.

These photos are bringing back all the memories: turquoise water, golden sunsets, brilliant food and the kind of welcome that makes you feel like you’re sailing with old friends.

And after Elysium? We’re swapping yachts for something extra special onboard Gemaya. Two weeks, two Elixir experiences—and absolutely no complaints from us!

🚢 This time last year. Two years ago. Three years ago… Apparently, we don’t do July on land.

We don’t know how it happens.

Every year we tell ourselves we’ll have a quiet summer… then somehow we’re standing on another deck wondering how we got there.

One July it’s cruising the Eastern Mediterranean aboard Norwegian Spirit. The next, we’re sailing Portugal’s Douro River through vineyard-covered valleys. Before we know it, Celebrity Apex has traded sunshine for Norway’s dramatic fjords.

Just when we think we’ve seen it all, Windstar’s Star Legend is squeezing beneath Tower Bridge, P&O Ventura is whisking us away for a cheeky Amsterdam mini cruise, Silversea Silver Ray is hopping between Croatia’s beautiful islands, and Oceania Marina has us dreaming about where our next luxury cruise might take us.

We’re beginning to think July has a habit of finding us at sea… and honestly, we’re completely okay with that.

Eight years. Eight unforgettable summers. Ocean cruises, river cruises, luxury cruises, mini cruises… and a camera roll full of sailaways, sunsets and “how is this actually our life?” moments.

Long may the tradition continue. ❤️
