There is a place in El Gouna that stops you in your tracks.

A concert hall rising from an artificial lagoon. Colonnades reaching 20 metres into the desert sky.

Designed by a British architect inspired by ancient Egyptian monuments and Moorish architecture.

This is the El Gouna Conference and Culture Centre — home to the El Gouna Film Festival every autumn, world-class concerts, and some of the most memorable evenings I have ever experienced here.

Most people come to El Gouna for the sun and the Red Sea.

While headlines talked about war in the Middle East, I packed my bag and flew to Egypt.

Not because I’m naive. But because I know what El Gouna actually is.

Egypt is not part of the conflict!

Life here is exactly as it always has been — sun, sea, quiet lagoons, and warm people who are happy you came.

A week of partner meetings, new places, and good conversations. And the same calm I always find here.

People ask if it’s safe. The answer is yes — if you know where you’re going.

Who has performed Mahler’s 2nd Symphony under renowned conductor Gustavo Dudamel at the Lucerne Festival.

Who has composed and produced for Samih Sawiris across Europe and the Middle East and been a associate Producer and Composer of the theme song for the Netflix documentary SKYWALKERS: A Love Story.

Tereza bridges the beauty of classical artistry with the depth of ancient wisdom through transformational sound healing work for clients around the world.

And I am so honored and grateful for the opportunity to work with something truly special.

War, conflict, corruption, and the unimaginable suffering happening across our world right now reminds us how fragile peace truly is, and how much it matters.

Our hearts are with every soul affected. We stand firmly against violence in all its forms!

Egypt itself is peaceful. Life in El Gouna continues as beautifully as ever. It is the uncertainty around regional airspace, not the destination, that has led us to pause our upcoming journeys until the picture becomes clearer.

If calm is restored over the next two weeks, we fully intend to move forward with our retreat at the end of March.

El Gouna is a place built on the belief that life can be lived beautifully and in balance, in community, in peace.

That vision matters more than ever right now 🫶🏻

Something magical is happening ♡
My first time in Egypt was in 2003, on a private diving trip for 7 days. That experience has stayed with me for life.

Today, Egypt is my second home, where my two sons and I have our Egyptian family. This is not for tourists!

This time, I'm doing something I've never done before. I've brought together world-renowned names and Gounis (the people of El Gouna), Olympic champions and masters in their fields.

March 2026. El Gouna, Egypt. 10 women.

Første gang jeg var i Egypt var i 2003, på en privat dykkereise. Den opplevelsen har vært med meg hele livet.

I dag er Egypt mitt andre hjem, hvor jeg og mine to sønner har vår egyptiske familie. Dette er ikke for turister, men for skapere!

Denne gangen gjør jeg noe jeg aldri har gjort før. Jeg har fått med meg verdenskjente navn og Gounis (innbyggerne i El Gouna), Olympic champions og Mestere innen sitt felt.

Whether you’re just starting or you’ve been diving for decades, these waters welcome you.
