ABE Art Gallery, Korshamn 🎨
Nestled in Korshamn in the same building as Korshamn Rorbuer, ABE Art Gallery was started by local artist Evy Eftestøl and is home to some incredible art, the kind of place you could easily walk past without knowing what's inside.
If you're in the area, it's well worth a stop. A true hidden gem and a must-visit for anyone who appreciates art.

Lyngdal has numerous beautiful beaches waiting to be explored. Here are 5 to start with, all within short reach of the city.

🌊 Kvaviksanden – Fine, shallow sand along the Lyngdalsfjord, right next to Camp Lyngdal. Easy to reach, easy to enjoy.

🏖️ Rosfjordsanden – A long sandy stretch in the heart of Rosfjord, with a bathing pier, water park, restaurant and hiking trails close by.

🚤 Epledal – A hidden gem by Grønsfjorden. Shallow water, sandy shore, and volleyball on the beach.

🛶 Byremosanden – A picture-perfect freshwater beach innland with soft sand, canoe rentals, and plenty of room for the kids to play. Theres also an activity park right by the beach.

⛵ Sutnøy – A sheltered cove on an island off Korshamn, reachable only by boat. Sandy beach, grassy lawn, and a spot loved by boaters and cottage folks alike.

Just a short 25-minute drive from Lyngdal city, Neseknipen sits tucked just above the famous Kvåsfossen waterfall and offers one of the most rewarding viewpoints in the area, and the journey there is just as good as the destination.

The hike starts in the parking lot at Kvåsfossen Villakssenter. It’s not a long trail, but the elevation gain is steep, so proper shoes are a must before you set off.

From there, the route takes you along the spectacular mountain road toward Fidjestøl, a stretch that sets the tone for what’s ahead. Near the summit, follow the signs toward Neseknipen.

At the top you’ll find a a trail logbook and a proper chair to sit back and soak in the panoramic views🤩
