In winter you can put on your skis right outside the cabin and start your trip to the mountain. From the cabin you can view several of the peaks belonging to the mighty Lyngen Alps, such as Fastdalstinden, Store Kjostinden, Tafeltinden, Goalborri, Sorbmegaisa, Storhaugen and others. For those who enjoy the midnight sun there is hardly a better place in the world to enjoy it. The midnight sun arrive around May 20 and can be enjoyed every night for several weeks. Late September the Northern Lights appears, which in periods and in clear weather can be seen in the sky until March.
