Ready to explore? The Mosseskogen forest is a living museum where the deep history of Norway is etched into the landscape. As you trek through its spring-blooming trails, keep an eye out for these significant historical landmarks: The Old King Road, the North Sea Trail, Molbekktjernet pond (the ice industry legacy), Røysåsen Bronze burial mounds, The Place of Ex*****on, The Great Mail Robbery Site (Postranet), the historical battle site against soldiers from Sweden, bomb crater from the Second World War, and a old dwelling site at Lindebaugen.

There is a specific kind of magic that settles over Mosseskogen when spring finally breaks its silence. As you stand at the gateway, in the end of Gamleveien, the historical Place of Ex*****on, and walking further to this coastal forest in the heart of the Moss region, the air carries a crisp, birds are singing, trees get greener, and then you feel renewed energy.
