Playing disc golf at Solliskogen Diskogolfbane, Øråsen in Moss, this evening. Having fun here in the dense dark forest. Disc golf is easy to learn, inexpensive to play, and combines a relaxing walk in a beautiful nature. Enjoyed the challenge of throwing a disc into a metal basket.

Soaked up the last rays of sun. It doesn't get much better than a warm summer evening down by Verket and surroundings. When the evening sun hits the old industrial brick walls against the blue fjord, Verket really shines.

Sunlight stretched across the cobblestones and paving stones. Walking down the pedestrian street Gågata, Dronningens gate, on a afternoon like this is a gentle reminder: life doesn't always need to be a sprint. Sometimes, the most meaningful path is simply taking your time down a sunlit street, anchored right here in the heart of Moss.

The local nature photographer Jon took a trip in the afternoon around Alby at Jeløy. The light there during a clear afternoon has a way of slowing down every step you take. Oh, yes! Woke up happy today. I am no longer a gardener. I am now a full-time, unpaid restaurant manager for hoofed freeloaders, the Bambis. They look so sweet in the movies, don’t they? Big, soulful eyes, delicate little spots, fluttering eyelashes, frolicking through the woods with a songbird on their nose. Then I woke up this morning, looked out through my window, and realized that Bambi and his gang have turned my backyard into an all-you-can-eat midnight buffet. As long they keep away from eating my flowers, I will be delighted by their help cutting the grass in my garden.

It's hard to beat a perfect summer day at Verket in Moss! The whole area has undergone an incredible transformation from an old industrial site into a vibrant waterfront district. Walked around at Rabben public park and urban beach, and Hotel Riviera with a beach bar and palm trees overlooking the fjord, which both opened in the summer of 2023. Also some other nice bars have established along the beach and dock promenade.

Early evenings magic on Jeløya in late May: Chasing the Golden Hour on some trips there. There is a specific moment in early summers when Jeløya completely transforms.
