On Sunday, 16 August, the Arctic Race of Norway comes to Narvik and the world-class field will race all the way to Narvikfjellet Ski Resort 🚴

The final stage runs from Sortland to Narvik, with just over 190 kilometres in the legs before the riders face the final demanding climb towards the finish at Basecamp Narvik - Hotel & Apartments.👏 This is where both the stage victory and the overall race could be decided, with the Ofotfjord and surrounding mountains setting the scene for the finale.🌄

But the day is about more than professional cycling. From 11:00, Narvik will come alive with activities, the ARN Village, Mini Arctic Race, roller skiing, the PolarKraft Sprint, the Arctic Race caravan and events in both the city centre and the harbour area.😃 The expected finish is around 18:01.

🍂 Live the autumn season alongside the huskies in Northern Norway 🐕 Autumn is when the mountains change colour, the air turns crisp, and the dogs begin training for winter. At in Målselv, you can become part of that everyday rhythm, surrounded by nature and a pack of 35 Alaskan huskies.

During 6 days and 5 nights, you’ll stay at the husky farm and experience the season up close. The days are shaped by the weather and conditions, and may include:

🐾 Dog sledding on wheels and training with your own dog team
🥾 Hiking through colourful autumn forests and mountains
🛶 Canoeing on the Målselva River
🏔️ An overnight stay in a mountain cabin, with the dogs joining the adventure
🔥 Meals and quiet moments around the fire
🧖 Evenings in a wood-fired sauna
🌌 And perhaps the first Northern Lights of the season above the mountains

This is more than a meeting with the huskies. It’s a few days immersed in life on a small dog farm in the north with time for the dogs, the landscape and the people you share the experience with.
