🕊️Today, on May 8th, Norway marks Liberation Day, the end of World War II in Europe in 1945. For Narvik, this date carries a special meaning. During the spring of 1940, our small Arctic town became the centre of one of the first major battles of World War II. For 62 dramatic days, fierce fighting unfolded across fjords, mountains and at sea, leaving stories that still shape this region today.
