Arctic Trip is a small family company providing northern lights tours and customized tours from one to several days in Troms area. Tours are all-inclusive and can include various activities, like ice fishing, snowshoeing, skiing, and sleeping in a tent or a transparent cabin. One to several days sightseeing tours with main focus on photography are also possible. We can also organise summer activities on request. We are focusing on small groups up to 12 person.

Store Russetinden, the highest mountain in Nordkjosbotn, photographed with magnificent red and green northern lights. 🏔️✨

Did you know that the colours of the northern lights are caused when the charged particles from sun collides with different atoms and molecules in the atmosphere. Oxygen atoms are causing the two most usual colours, green and red, as seen in this picture. Nitrogen molecules are producing more bluish light and deep red colour. True beauty!☺️
