Relax in beautiful surroundings or explore nature through exciting activities! Oldevatn Camping ligg idyllisk til ved Oldevatnet, omkransa av stupbratte fjell, glitrande isbrear og majestetiske fossar. Oldevatnet er kjent for å vere eit godt fiskevatn. Så kanskje skal du ta med fiskestanga for å prøve

fiskelukka? Ingen middag er vel betre enn sjølvfiska ørret eller røye på grillen. Oldevatn Camping er også eit fint utgangspunkt for turar både i fjellet og ved kysten i Nordfjord. Vi har turkart for Oldedalen til sals i resepsjonen, og gjev deg gjerne tips om kva turar vi synast er ekstra fine. I enden av Oldedalen, 12 km forbi Oldevatn Camping ligg den berømte Briksdalsbreen. Hit kan du køyre med eigen bil, eller gå på bussen berre få meter frå campingplassen. Kanskje freistar også shopping, rafting, helikoptertur, brevandring, eller eit museumsbesøk på bremuseet? Alt dette ligg innanfor rekkevidde for eit dagsbesøk. Det er også godt å berre vere iro på plassen. Vi har gratis utlån av syklar, robåtar og kanoar, samt utleige av trøbåt for 25,- per time, så det skal ikkje mangle på ting å finne på. Gratis trådlaust internett på heile plassen.

The weather gods have been generous with the rain these past few weeks 🌧️😅

But we’re staying optimistic! The forecast for the coming week is looking promising, and we’re keeping our fingers crossed for some sunshine ☀️

Hopefully, the clothes will finally dry, the clouds will lift, and we can enjoy some beautiful autumn days 🍂🍁🧡

🌧️ Rainy day? No problem!

If the weather isn't ideal for hiking, a trip to Hamna Bouldering is a fantastic alternative for families. Just a one-hour drive from Oldevatn Camping, you'll find an indoor climbing centre with bouldering routes for all ages and skill levels.

Whether it's your very first climb or you're looking for a real challenge, there are problems ranging from beginner-friendly to advanced. Kids can explore, climb, and play while adults can join in—or simply cheer from the sidelines with a cup of coffee.

It's a fun, active way to spend a rainy day together, and a great chance to try something new before heading back to the campsite to relax. 💛

Proof once again that there's no such thing as bad weather🌧️🚴

These two adventurous cyclists from Spain stopped by on their journey from Bergen to Trondheim. Despite the rainy weather, they took it all with a smile✨️ When we asked them what they thought of the Norwegian summer so far, they simply smiled and said the rain was a refreshing break from the summer heat back home.

We love meeting adventurous people like this. Thank you for visiting, and have a safe ride to Trondheim 💛

When the weather turns a little grey, the fun doesn't have to stop 🤸🤸‍♂️🤸

Just a 20-minute drive from Oldevatn Camping, Loen Play is a perfect place for the little ones to burn off some energy. Plenty of play, lots of laughter, tasty treats from the kiosk, and great coffee for the grown-ups too ☕🍰
