This is the scenery and the memories of my childhood, from a time when there were no mobile phones. I really wish I could go back to those days.

As times become more modern, people seem to become more greedy, forgetting what is right and wrong and losing sight of what is good and bad.

When we die, can we take all the things we have with us?

We should create as much happiness as possible for ourselves and for the people around us, because our time in this life is not very long. ♥️🙏😍

Det kambodsjanske folket har et veldig godt og varmt hjerte, akkurat som denne kvinnen. Hun lever av å samle inn og selge resirkulerbart avfall, og hun hadde bare 25 dollar, men likevel var hun villig til å hjelpe en person som trengte hjelp. ♥️

Cambodian people have very kind and generous hearts, just like this woman. She makes a living collecting recyclable materials, and she only had $25, but she was still willing to help someone who was in need.♥️

Thailand tries to steal and copy everything from Cambodia and then claims that it belongs to them.

Did you know there's a piece of Angkor Wat right in the heart of Bangkok?

Tucked inside the grounds of Wat Phra Kaew, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, sits a detailed scale model of Cambodia's magnificent Angkor Wat, and it comes with a fascinating royal history.

The model was commissioned by King Mongkut (Rama IV) around 1866, and completed during the reign of his son, King Chulalongkorn (Rama V). It was built from an intricate survey of the real temple, recreated in miniature and cast in cement, right beside the Phra Mondop scripture library within the temple complex.

Standing on the raised terrace, the little Angkor gives visitors a chance to admire the layout of one of the world's greatest architectural wonders in a single glance, its towers, galleries and causeways captured in miniature.

It's easy to walk straight past it while marvelling at the Emerald Buddha, the golden chedis and the towering guardian yaksha. So next time you visit, take a moment to find this quiet little masterpiece with a big story.

Proof of her 100% Khmer identity comes from direct historical archives at the Musée des Confluences in Lyon (dating back to Paul Le Faucheur's 1872 French publications) as well as the independent genealogical research and living testimony of her descendants, who recognize her as their esteemed ancestor (Lok Yay).
