FARA Cycling Fara Cycling is an independent maker of Performance Adventure Bicycles. Designed and developed in Norway. Based in Oslo. We are cyclists.

Fara Cycling is a small group of individuals sharing a deep rooted passion for the world of bikes. With a strong focus on Nordic design and quality, our aim is to embrace new ideas and build a modern cycling experience around your needs. In Norway we are not exactly blessed with ideal cycling conditions. Riding here requires products that are simple and work well no matter what the season. Fara Cy

cling's products have been developed with this in mind and we stand behind them. We want to change the way people buy bikes. Instead of conforming your needs to a finished product, we are putting the power of choice in your hands. Through our user friendly website we will guide you through the important choices you need to make to put together the bike best suited your needs, and then we will build it for you. Our products are sourced from the best suppliers in the cycling industry and either picked from the top shelf, or built to our strict standards. By sourcing straight from the manufacturers and selling direct to you we are able to offer an excellent value for money. The process is a two-step collaboration. The life of a FARA-bike starts when both ends meet. We provide a service, while you make the decisions.

Fara’s very own build a Gr4 using our frameset option!

Finished with the spectacular Fera gravel wheels from and a custom 3D-printed Joyseat saddle from .cc, this is a fast, comfortable and capable Nordmarka slayer.

"I ride quite a lot of 2-3h gravel rides around Oslo and I try to make every ride as enjoyable as possible. So, for my personal bike, I want the comfort and handling to be on point: short stem, light gears and a stable and fast wheels is what does it for me. We have reduced lead times for the Gr4 and re-stocked our Oslo showroom with ready-to-ride bikes.

Order now and you will have the perfect gravel season this autumn.

The Gr4 is available in three configurations (in addition to frameset+cockpit option), all of which can also be built as mullet setups:

• Fara Gr4 — Red XPLR AXS
• Fara Gr4 — Force XPLR AXS
• Fara Gr4 — Rival XPLR AXS

Bespoke Assembly options:

• Handlebar width and stem length can completely change how confident you feel on rough descents — and how good of a position you can get on long flats.

• Crank length influences cadence, control, comfort and joint load. If it’s not right, you’ll notice it on steep climbs, on long rides, and especially when you’re racing tired.

Some races are won in a sprint. Others are won 70 kilometres from the finish.

After circling The Rift on his calendar all year, Anton Stensby delivered one of the rides of his career. Launching a solo attack on the climb to Hekla volcano, he rode alone across Iceland's volcanic gravel and relentless headwinds to claim victory by just 20 seconds.

On one of the toughest gravel courses in the world, every detail mattered.
