Kazuri beads are beautiful handmade ceramic beads produced in Kenya. The word “Kazuri” means “small and beautiful” in Swahili, which perfectly describes these colorful pieces. They are made and hand-painted by local artisans, many of whom are women who gain stable employment through the project.

The beads are created from clay, shaped by hand, fired in a kiln, and then carefully painted with unique designs. Each bead is slightly different, making every necklace, bracelet, or piece of jewelry special. Today, Kazuri beads are known around the world as a symbol of Kenyan craftsmanship, creativity, and empowerment. 🌍✨
