This route takes you through the Khumbu Valley in Nepal, past turquoise lakes, local teahouses and high mountain passes, with some of the best views toward Mount Everest.

The goal is Gokyo Ri at 5357 meters, followed by the Renjo La Pass, one of the great high crossings in the Himalayas.

Vietnam, above the rice fields.

This journey takes you north, from Hanoi to the mountains of Sapa, through green valleys, rice terraces, local villages and high trails in the Tonkin Alps.

Store Skagastølstind, better known as Storen, is Norway’s third highest mountain. At 2,405 meters, it is also the highest summit in Norway that requires climbing to reach.

The trip does not require previous climbing experience, but it does require good fitness, comfort in steep mountain terrain and the ability to keep going for 9–12 hours.

Some journeys are shaped by contrast.

In Tajikistan, the days are spent on foot through the Fann Mountains, with high passes, clear lakes, tent nights and long stretches far from the usual routes. Then the trail gives way to Uzbekistan, where Samarkand and Bukhara bring the journey into the old Silk Road.

This is your sign to climb volcanoes in Ecuador.

From 14–26 September 2026, we are heading to Tanzania for Kilimanjaro (5,895 m) with the option to add safari after the climb.
