What we learned from our first full tour:
Spectacular roads, yes, but what stuck with people were the small things: a swim in a cold lake, a beer after a long day, and the feeling of just being in the landscape.
Some of the stretches we thought of as "just a way to get to the next place" ended up being highlights. It reminded us that what we take for granted in Norway can feel unreal for someone seeing it for the first time.
We also met many of the people behind the hotels and activities, built real connections, and hand-picked what truly adds to the experience.
And doing this as brothers? That made it even better.
