The midnight tours season has started and we’ve already been blessed with both amazing colors, stunning light and golden nights 🤩

The Midnight Sun season in Lofoten is from 28 May and 14 July, but both before and after sunsets the colors can be equally or if you ask me; even more stunning!

Our midnight/evening kayak tours are much more than about light and colors. You also get a chance to learn about kayaking, nature, wildlife and more :)

Exactly one month ago we were breaking the ice here in our bay;) it's quite rare to have the surface of the ocean frozen, the layer of ice was 2-3cm. This only happens in very calm and cold periods, when the temperature at night goes down to -10C🧊❄️or less and it has to be pretty windstill. We had some sunny days, lots of auroras and loads of snow😇

For last two weeks the snow started melting, weather is wild and crazy, it's been rainy and windy, very unstable and unpredictable, not that kind of weather and conditions we usually have this time of the year.. Since last weekend we got temperatures between 6-8C, today gusting wind up to 22m/s and heavy rain. Had some tours, but january and february were awesome compared to what we have now..
Hoping for better tomorrows:) Lofoten got some crazy weather in march, but that's life, we can't do anything about it☺️
The nature, landscapes and views are still beautiful
