Not every day in Reine looks like the postcard. ☁️
This summer has brought plenty of clouds and rain, but that doesn’t mean there’s nothing to see.
Quite the opposite.
The weather around the Lofoten Islands can change incredibly quickly. Clouds move through the mountains, the light shifts, and suddenly the landscape looks completely different. Sometimes the sun breaks through. Sometimes a rainbow appears. Sometimes the mountains reveal themselves for just a few magical minutes. 🌈🏔️
That’s part of what makes paddling here so special.
But we never rely on luck. Before every trip, we check and analyse the weather, wind, waves and changing conditions. If it’s not safe to go, we simply don’t.
So don’t let a grey sky make the decision for you.
Sometimes the most beautiful moments are hiding behind the clouds. 🛶✨
