The Midnight Sun season is on! ☀️

Here is a midnight sun experience from a couple visiting Vesterålen last year 🫶👇

"Looking back at one of the best hikes so far this summer, wow what a night ❤️

We had to visit Vesterålen this year and it’s definitely one of the prettiest places in Northern Norway! We can’t really get over the night hike we had here🥹 Started our hike around 11pm, with the midnight sun still warming us a bit, almost no people around and just constant beautiful views! It really surprised us how few people that actually stop by here at Andøya when it’s under two hours away from Lofoten! So if you want to be surrounded by super pretty artic beaches, hikes like this and something different - this is where you have to go!

The hike is called Måtinden and is roughly a 8km in total! Very straight forward path with around 400 meters elevation, and the view it gives you, especially around sunset/sunrise, is just perfect 🥹".

Saturday, on Norway's Constition Day, Whale2Sea experienced this amazing moment when a s***m whale approached them on a whale watching tour 🐳🫶

They were drifting without engines on, and suddenly he came swimming towards them. As for the gasp at the end of the film - also experienced guides gets emotional during such a ones in a lifetime moment ❤️

Savannah and Josh from Perth in Australia were on an explorer cruise with Hurtigruten recently.

In Vesterålen on a mountain hike with Adventure4life 🏔🥾 they saw the light and Josh seized the moment! Under the Northern Lights the proposal came as a surprise to both Savannah, the guides and the rest of the group on the trip, but oh my, how romantic! 🫶

And Savannah said YES! We congratulate the happy couple and wish them the best for the future! 💚💍
