1) IS VIKING HOUSE A MUSEUM?
No, we are not a museum, but we have a very cool virtual reality film and a souvenir shop. 🕶️😎🎁💝
2) HOW MUCH ARE THE TICKETS? 🎫🎟️
The entrance to the shop is ALWAYS free.
For the VR film the prices are:
- Single ticket 175 NOK 🧍🏻
- Family ticket (2 adults + 2 children)550 NOK👨👩👧👦
3) WHERE CAN I BUY THE TICKETS FOR THE VR-SHOW?🎟️🎫
You can:
-Book them online here: https://www.vikinghouse.no/
- Buy them at Stavanger Tourist Information Office
-Drop in and buy them here.
(Make sure to check our blackboard at the front desk for the available shows!)
4) IS THERE A AGE LIMIT? 🔞
We would not recommend it to children under 7.
5) CAN I GET A DISCOUNT?💰
Yes, if you come to us with a ticket from one of our partners you might get a little discount on our VR film (not on the merch!)

6) HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE? ⏱️⏳
The VR film has a duration of 15 minutes.
You are free to spend as much time as you please in our souvenir shop.
7) WHEN IS THE NEXT SHOW?📽️
Shows are every 30 minutes.
The last show is 30 minutes before closing time.
8) IS IT AN INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCE? ⚔️
No, it is not interactive. You will sit down in our boat shaped room and join the battle of Hafrsfjord with your immagination as you will be surrounded by our 360° VR film.
