«Fartøyvern for fremtiden 2025» – støttet av Sparebankstiftelsen DNB og Norsk Forening for Fartøyvern.

Støtten har gitt ungdom kurs og opplæring i fartøyvern og kystkultur. Gjennom opplæring, praktisk erfaring og oppnådde kurs og sertifikater er de kvalifisert til arbeid som mannskap på ærverdige M/S Hestøy, vernet av Riksantikvaren, og til å føre båter sertifisert for opptil 12 personer.

Rare Polar Stratospheric Clouds Over Lofoten ✨🌅»
Some moments in nature are so unique they feel like a dream. These polar stratospheric clouds, captured here in Lofoten under the sea eagle safari, are a rare phenomenon that only occurs under very special conditions.

What are Polar Stratospheric Clouds?
Also known as nacreous clouds, they form high in the atmosphere (15–25 km) when temperatures drop below -78°C. Visible just after sunset or before sunrise, the light refracts through ice crystals, creating mesmerizing pastel colors – pink, blue, purple, and green. These clouds are rare and appear only during specific weather conditions, making them a true natural wonder.
