Day 9: Leave Reine at 8 am (breakfast at 7 am) for Narvik where we will arrive around 1:30-2:00pm and have a free afternoon to explore Narvik on our own or just leisurely walk around town and rest. Tonight we will have our final dinner together at a local restaurant. Overnight in local guest house, cabin, or hostel depending on availability.

Optional Activities (to be booked on your own): Narvikfjellet Cable Car, Hike to top of Narvikfjellet Cable car for free, Narvik War Museum, Polish War Museum, Narvik Museum, Narvik Motor Museum

Day 10: We will depart Narvik at 8 am (breakfast at 7 am) to drive back to Tromso which should take around 3 hours and head to Tromso airport where we say our tearful goodbyes. I wouldn’t book any flights before 2PM on departure date. 2PM or later should be fine.

Day 8: Today we leave the cabin/guest house at 9 am (breakfast at 8 am) and spend the entire morning and afternoon exploring the remote fishing villages of southwest Lofuten which includes A i Lofuten, Sorvagen, and Reine. In the late afternoon, we will head over to the Reinebringen for our hike. Reinebringen towers above the village of Reine and is absolutely gorgeous. There is a reason why this hike is the most popular in all of Lofuten. Reinebringen is short but steep with sherpa steps leading all the way up to near the summit. After the hike, we will head back to Reine to have dinner. Overnight in local guest house, cabin, or hostel depending on availability.

Day 7: We will leave our accommodation at 8 am (breakfast at 7 am) and head down the road to our next hike. Volandstinden provides incredible views over the western Lofuten coast. It is a relatively easy hike and is very rewarding for the effort put in. After taking some stunning photos of the terrain down below, we will take a rest and go have our lunch nearby at the small village of Ramberg. After having lunch and a short rest, we will then drive to one of the most stunning hikes in Lofuten and on the planet in my opinion, Ryten (10 min drive). Ryten provides one of the best views in Lofuten at the summit and is popular among numerous photographers. Down at the base of Ryten lies Kvalvika Beach, a very popular camping destination among hikers. Next, we will drive to our accommodation which is where we will spend the next 2 nights. After checking into our accommodation, we can go check out the Reine Lighthouse at dusk which is a stunning sight (weather permitting) before we have dinner in the evening. Overnight in local guest house, cabin, or hostel depending on availability.

Volandstinden Hike – Duration 2.5 hours, Elevation Gain 440 m (440 m down), Roundtrip Distance 4.5 km (approximate values)

Ryten Hike – Duration 5 hours, Elevation Gain 550 m (550 m down), Roundtrip Distance 7.9 km (approximate values)
