Today, on February 6th, we mark the Sámi National Day! ❤️💚💛💙
In a time when Indigenous voices still need space, visibility and recognition, it is more important than ever to highlight and respect the knowledge, history and presence of Sámi communities here in Norway. There is so much to learn from their cultural diversity and their connection to Arctic nature.
Responsible tourism starts with understanding where we are, who lives here and how we can contribute to preserve local and Indigenous communities. We suggest all visitors to dive into the Sámi cultural heritage when visiting the Arctic. 🙏🏼

Yesterday, an historical solar storm hit the Earth, giving us these red and pink northern lights in the sky ! 😍 People living at lower latitude were also able to see them!This was a night we and our guests will remember. We are so thankful to be able share these unique moments with visitors from around the world. 🙏🏼 Did you see it from your home town? Let us know! ✨

Save this for your next whale watching tour! 🐋 Every day is different out here in the Arctic, but some days can be full of surprises. Wildlife is unpredictable and that’s the reason why those animals are fascinating! Attending a whale watching tour requires having the right expectations. The simple fact of witnessing one with your own eyes is a real gift from nature. 🙏🏼 The spectacular behaviours might happen from time to time, but that is not something to look for absolutely! The opportunity of being out on a boat in a Norwegian Arctic fjord is an authentic experience by itself. Our guides are here to educate and share their knowledge about whales, and they will make your experience truly valuable.✨
