Welcome back, midnight sun - see you very soon! 🌞💛

🌅 The midnight sun is slowly returning to Tromsø, and you can feel it in the air. Late-night hikes with golden views and spontaneous road trips at “midnight” that feel like the middle of the day. Locals and visitors gather for evening swims, mountain adventures, fishing trips, and outdoor cafés that stay lively well past traditional hours.

Important update!
Tromsø Bridge is currently closed for car traffic due to ongoing work 👷‍♀️🚧🚗

If you can, consider walking or cycling across the bridge, or using public buses to get around. The bridge remains open for pedestrians and cyclists, and buses cross at certain times only.

If you are travelling by car, please use the undersea tunnel between Tromsøya and Tromsdalen. Expect heavier traffic and allow extra time, especially during peak hours.

Easter's biggest clash⚽

On Easter Monday, Tromsø IL host Rosenborg BK in one of the classic fixtures of Norwegian football. This match could sell out, so be quick.

Don’t worry if you can’t make the Rosenborg clash – it’s an unusually busy period for Eliteserien matches in Tromsø. A whopping five home matches await our local heroes in April.
