❄️ Tromso Ice Domes is officially opening on the 20th of December!

Our team has been working hard to make the magic happen, and we can safely say that this year’s art theme is one of the best we have ever had.

A smaller area of the domes is currently open to visitors, and the domes will be fully open in just another week! We cannot wait for you to experience this icy kingdom✨

Tromso Ice Domes are rebuilt every year for the winter season! ❄️

Each section of the hotel will have new themes every time we build it, to ensure that you get a unique experience every year.

The themes are displayed through different ice carvings and ice sculptures inspired by local culture and history, the and local wildlife 💙

One of the dog mushers that we have working with us this winter is Raul from Spain. 🇪🇸. ❄️

This is his first winter in our camp but not his first job working with dogs in the north. “At first I didn’t know that this kind of jobs existed, I had only seen it in movies. But then I saw an ad about it on a workaway site and I immediately felt that this was the right kind of work for me.” Raul thinks that one of the best things about living in Tromso area is the stillness.

“There are a lot of places where you can be alone, just surrounded by the nature and mountains.” 🌄🐕
