Welcome to the official page of the Hurtigruten ship MS Trollfjord! 🚢 The ship has a comfortable interior, with an extensive use of Norwegian wood and stone.

A magnificent ship deservedly bearing the name of one of the most dramatic sights on the voyage. The ship is named after the famous Trollfjord, situated between the Vesterålen and the Lofoten Islands. Trollfjord is one of the highlights of the voyage south, and is famous locally for "The battle of the Trollfjord" which took place here in the winter of 1890. MS Trollfjord's maiden voyage was in 200

2 and she is one of the newest ships in the Hurtigruten fleet. Being MS Midnatsol's sister ship, they share many of the same characteristics, such as the beautiful panorama lounge and suites. On board the ship you will discover original paintings by the Lofoten artist Kaare Espolin Johnsen, paintings that were originally on board the old Hurtigruten ship MS Harald Jarl.

🇳🇴 I går startet vi dagen med flaggheising og nasjonalsangen kl 0800 på vei gjennom Magerøysundet, før vi la til i Honningsvåg kl 10. Mange av gjestene fikk oppleve 17. Mai på Nordkapp gjennom forskjellige utflukter, og en god del deltok også på 17. Mai-toget gjennom sentrum sammen med Kaptein Eriksen og resten av mannskapet. Vi har nå forlatt fastlandet og er på vei til Svalbard for første gang denne sesongen 😍 Takk til alle som bidro til en fantastisk feiring og hipp hipp hurra! 🥳🇳🇴

🇬🇧 Yesterday we started the day with a flag-raising ceremony and the national anthem at 8:00 a.m. as we sailed through Magerøysundet, before docking in Honningsvåg at 10:00 a.m. Many of the guests got to experience May 17th at the North Cape through various excursions, and quite a few also joined the May 17th parade through downtown with Captain Eriksen and the rest of the crew. We have now left the mainland are headed towards Svalbard for the first time this season 😍 Thank you to all those who helped make this a fantastic celebration and hipp hipp hurra! 🥳🇳🇴

Å koble til landstrøm bidrar ikke bare med lavere klimagassutslipp, men også renere luft og mindre støy lokalt 🤍❤️🖤

🇳🇴 I dag er samenes nasjonaldag. Den lokale gruppen Nordavindfolket i Honningsvåg kom å danset BliMe-dansen for oss på kaia ❤️

🇬🇧 Today is the Sami National Day. The local group Nordavindfolket in Honningsvåg came and danced the BliMe-dance for us on the quay ❤️

🇳🇴 Onsdag 4. februar koblet vi til Lofotens første landstrøm-anlegg i Svolvær! Hurtigruten tilhører en bransje som fortsatt har for høye utslipp. Derfor er det viktig at vi gjør det vi kan for å kutte dem. Å koble til landstrøm bidrar ikke bare med lavere klimagassutslipp, men også renere luft og mindre støy lokalt ❤️

🇬🇧 On Wednesday, 4 February, we connected to Lofoten's first shore power facility in Svolvær! Hurtigruten belongs to an industry that still has excessively high emissions. That is why it is important that we do what we can to cut them. Connecting to shore power not only contributes to lower greenhouse gas emissions, but also cleaner air and less noise locally ❤️
