And as the season drew to a close, March 2026 provided the perfect bookend - a month full of awe inspiring celestial displays.

Not every night was filled with breathtaking aurora - but when the lights failed to show themselves, what we remember is the camaraderie around the campfire, the shared laughter, and the sense of venturing out into Arctic landscapes together. Then, when the lights did decide to show, it made it just that little bit more special.

Another month of venturing out in search of stunning skies had our hopes high - and February 2026 rewarded that optimism.

From gentle arcs against a moonlit sky, dazzling dancing against a starry canvas, and everything in between, every show had one thing in common underneath, an adventurer in search of Arctic beauty.

Whilst we look back in wonder at the shows that have passed, we also look forward in anticipation of more of these beautiful moments. Look forward with us, and join the adventure.

Runtime: one very long winter.

The job itself is less cinematic: early starts, cold hands, long nights. But then the sky puts on a proper show, and you remember exactly why you’re out here.

We spent every clear night looking up — and January rewarded us almost every single time.

Curtains, coronas, pillars, swirls — the Arctic threw everything at us this month. And just when we thought it couldn’t get more dramatic, the 19th and 20th happened. Red aurora. 🤩

January 2026. Honestly one for the record books.

We’re still not over it. ✨

If you look closely at the 22nd, you’ll see what happens when the Lady decides to sleep. We make our own magic.

October gave us a 90% success rate, which is statistically incredible. But for the three nights she didn’t show? We had light painting, roaring fires, and stories shared under the stars.

The forecast for December? Darker nights and, hopefully, just as much green.
