Our Fishing Adventure in Myken – Unforgettable Thanks to Hafstein & Sven!

From July 19th to July 21st, 2025, we enjoyed an unforgettable fishing trip in Myken, Norway – and it wouldn’t have been half as amazing without our two fantastic hosts, Hafstein and Sven. Both did an outstanding job and made us feel welcome from the very first moment.
Right upon arrival, Sven invited us to a BBQ – a gesture we will never forget. He knows the island inside out and is the go-to person when it comes to finding the best fishing spots. Thanks to his tips, we were always in the right place for a great catch.
The facility is impeccably clean and equipped with everything an angler could wish for. The fish cleaning rooms are especially well-designed, making it quick and easy to prepare your catch.
The boats? Just 30 seconds away, and within five minutes you’re right in the middle of the fishing grounds – straight from bed into an angler’s paradise! Absolutely incredible.
A special shout-out to the well-stocked on-site shop: if you ever need something, you’ll find it here – and at very reasonable prices.

Conclusion: Top-notch facilities, breathtaking fishing grounds, perfect service – and with Hafstein & Sven, hosts who truly make your trip special. We will definitely be back!

It’s all going down at Sørøya Rorbu & Havfiske!
The sun’s out, the fish are biting, and the redfish are basically jumping into the boat yelling, “Take me, I’m delicious!”

Sure, redfish are stealing the spotlight right now, but this legendary fishing spot is like a seafood buffet with fins—cod, halibut, wolffish, you name it. If it swims, it’s probably here… and probably regretting it.

So grab your rod and enjoy the ride—this is fishing at its finest. 🎣😄
