Norway’s Crown Jewels have returned to Trondheim 👑

Following the passing and funeral of King Harald V, the Norwegian Crown Jewels have now returned to their home at the Archbishop’s Palace in Trondheim, where they are on display for visitors.

Located right next to Nidaros Cathedral, this is a unique way to see some of Norway’s most important royal treasures up close and experience a piece of Norwegian history in the heart of Trondheim.

Today marks exactly three months until our Christmas Market opens and this year, we have an extra reason to celebrate! ❤️

The Christmas Market in Trondheim has officially been awarded the title “Excellent European Christmas Market” 🏆🎄

Recognised for its quality, traditions, hospitality, sustainability and cultural diversity, Trondheim is now among a select group of Christmas markets in Europe to receive this distinction. ✨

So yes… we think it’s officially acceptable to start looking forward to twinkling lights, cosy market stalls, local flavours and that special Christmas magic in the heart of Trondheim 🎄❤️

With deep sadness, we mourn the passing of His Majesty King Harald V, a King who served his country with warmth, dignity and a deep belief in the people of Norway.

His words, his values and his legacy will remain with us. Our thoughts are with the Royal Family and all those mourning his loss. ❤️
