Då nærmar det seg vår på Hustveit og me er snart klare for ein ny sesong med restaurering og istandsetjing av husa i tunet. I år står gamlastovo, sjølve juvelen i bygningssamlinga, for tur. David Hustveit, Voss sin fyrste ordførar, budde i dette huset som truleg vart oppsett på 1700-talet.
No skal rotne laftestokkar bytast ut, muren og jordgolvet i årestovedelen vølast, p**a murast opp att og endeleg nytt torvtak. Dette skal verta så bra !

COVID-19 UPDATES FOR NORWAY

The spring is just around the corner and we in Exclusive Scandinavia are ready to start up again our operations as soon as the borders open up and the vaccination is rolled out in a faster pace.

Due to the spreading of the contagious mutated Covid viruses, the Norwegian Government has extended the strict restrictions on entry to our country until April 15th.

By now only “social critical” travel is permitted for Norwegians, and only non-residents being critical personnel is allowed to enter. Mandatory testing, requirements that travellers document a negative Covid-19 result from a test taken in the 24 hours prior to their arrival in Norway, traveller registration, a 10 days quarantine and quarantine hotels will continue to apply to those persons who are exempt from the restrictions on travel until further notice.

After a long covid-19 break, we are happy to announce that we are still alive and back on the stage ! Despite a very challenging time for everyone in general and the travel industry in special, we have all these months tried to focus on the post-corona time that will occur sooner or later. Thus we have spent quite some time on tracking and inspecting lots of new and exciting accommodations and activities that our customers will gain on. On day 25 we want to share a wonderful midnight sun image from Lofoten up North. This magical natural phenomena is possible to experience above the Arctic Circle during the summer.

Our 24th inspirational picture is from the Nærøyfjord. This branch of the Sognefjord was inscribed on Unesco`s World Heritage list in 2005 as it is considered among the most scenically outstanding fjord areas on the planet.

On day 23 of our inspirational images, we are back in Northern Norway. The amazing white beach is located in Rødøy close to the Arctic Circle.

On day 22 we share a picture from the Fjærlandsfjord, a branch of the main Sognefjord. At the distance we get a glimpse of the Jostedalsbre, the biggest glacier on mainland Europe.
