๐“๐ž๐ง๐ ๐›๐จ๐œ๐ก๐ž ๐Œ๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ฒ, located in Tengboche village within Khumjung Ward of the Khumbu region, Solukhumbu District, Nepal, is one of the most important Tibetan Buddhist monasteries of the Sherpa community. Sitting at an altitude of around 3,867 meters, it offers stunning views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and surrounding Himalayan peaks.

It lies about 10โ€“11 km from Namche Bazaar and usually takes around 5โ€“6 hours of trekking through beautiful alpine trails, forests, and ridge lines.

Matsyanarayan Temple is a famous Hindu temple located near Kirtipur and Machhegaun in Kathmandu Valley. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu in his Matsya (fish) incarnation, believed to be the first avatar of Vishnu. The peaceful temple area is surrounded by greenery, ponds, chaityas, and other small shrines, making it both a spiritual and natural attraction.

The temple is especially popular during the Purushottam Maas (Malmas) festival, when thousands of devotees visit for worship and blessings. According to Hindu belief, praying here during this sacred month brings spiritual merit and removes sins.
