Sympathy and Solidarity for the People of Myanmar, Thailand, and Beyond!

With deep sorrow, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the people of Myanmar, Thailand, and all those affected by the devastating earthquake. The loss of lives, destruction of sacred sites, and the suffering endured by communities weigh heavily on our hearts.

As a company devoted to Buddhist Enlightening Adventures in the Himalayas and Spiritual Journeys to the Terai Lumbini, we are reminded of the impermanence of all things, yet also of the boundless compassion that arises in times of suffering. In this moment of grief, may the teachings of the Buddha—of love, resilience, and mindfulness—bring solace to those mourning and strength to those rebuilding.

We stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in these sacred lands, sending prayers and loving-kindness for healing and renewal. May all beings find peace and comfort in the embrace of humanity’s collective compassion.

With deepest sympathy,
Bodhi Adventures🙏🤗🥲

Our Story

ABOUT BODHI ADVENTURES

All of us at Bodhi Adventures are extremely proud of our heart-calming itineraries and customized private treks, tours, trip-of-a-lifetime experiences in the Himalaya’s best destinations, and exceptional customer service from our team of honest guides. But how exactly did our family owned-and-operated business get its start in adventure travel trade?

YOU COULD SAY THAT WE BEGAN WITH AN AIM

From the very beginning, the guiding principles behind Bodhi Adventures were created based on adventure in the Himalayas, peace in mind, interaction with local people and cultural exchange in a participatory nature, and not simply as spectators. This was born from an experience that happened when owner Man Raj Gurung was trekking as a porter through the Annapurna of Nepal in the 2007s. He witnessed fellow trekking guides’ poor services to the travellers and observing the local porters more as animals like donkeys—rather than recognizing that they are very important component in the industry. “This left a bad taste in my mouth, as I tried to interact with Nepalese guides as much as possible,” says Man Raj.
