Who would believe that a 61 year old who'd been diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer four years ago could summit a 6,400+ meters peak in the himalayas one day?

Our very first group for this autumn is back from the trip safe and happy! Congratulations to the Canadian Alpine Club on their successful Mera summit on 15th October. We are genuinely thankful to all our crew members for their hardwork!

We wanted to close this year of work by contributing something to the society. And we are pleased to announce that we were able to send our helping hands all the way to Khare, Dolakha.
We provided school supplies (ball pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, coloring books, notebooks, colors, toys to name a few) to Khare school which is presently taking place in a Temporary learning center.
The next day, our staff hiked up and met old people and women still living in temporary shelters of ragged tarps & tents, who live alone further away from the community and provided them with one sleeping bag each.
We would like to extend our gratitude to Walter Welz from Austria and "BELIEVERS" from Nepal for contributing to the school supplies & sleeping bags. We would also like to thank Sabine Orasch from Ruefa for believing in us and supporting us in this mission.
Lastly, thanking our staff Mingma Tenzi Sherpa, Sonam Gyurme Sherpa, And Chering Sherpa for making this possible.

We received a big bag of school supplies from one of our clients, Mr Walter Welz from Austria who came to Nepal on Kanchenjunga Base Camp Trek in Dec 2015-Jan 2016. We have successfully distributed school supplies in Ghunsa and are now preparing to send more to Khare, Dolakha.
We would like to heartily thank Sabine Orasch from Ruefa for her kind donations, which will be used to add more materials to provide to all students of the school in Khare.
