अपिहिमाल गाउँपालिका दार्चुला जिलामे अवस्थित अछि ।[२][३][४] वि.सं. २०७३ सालमे सङ्घीय मामिला तथा स्थानीय विकास मन्त्रालयद्वारा ७४४ स्थानीय तह लागू करलाक बाद दार्चुला जिलामे साविकक घुसा, खाण्डेश्वरी, गुलिजार आ सितौला गाउँ विकास समितिसभके मिलाए अपिहिमाल गाउँपालिका बनाएल गेल अछि ।[५][६]अपिहिमाल गाउँपालिकाक कूल क्षेत्रफल ६१३.९५ वर्गकिलोमिटर रहल अछि । ई गाउँपालिका ६ वडामे विभाजन कएल गेल अछि । ई गाउँपालिकाक कूल जनसङ्ख्या ६,७७९ रहल अछि । ई गाउँपालिकाक सिमाना पूर्वमे बझाङ जिला, पश्चिममे व्यास गाउँपालिका आ नौगाड गाउँपालिका, उत्तरमे व्यास गाउँपालिका तथा दक्षिणमे मार्मा गाउँपालिका धरि फैलल अछि ।[७]
