It is an excellent opportunity to summit both peak in a single expedition. Larkya Peak offers a combination of religious heritages, majestic natural beauty and cultural diversity. Climbing Thulo (Big) Larkya requires a long tiring walk on snow as compared to Sano Larkya. Larkya provides you with the lifetime experience of climbing and trekking in a single package. Sano Larkya can be climbed in a long day from the base camp while Thulo Larkya requires one night stay in high camp at the middle of the snow. Although the peak is easy to climb, excellent physical and mental fitness is required along with previous climbing experience. This region has few trekkers and climbers which makes the visit more exciting, thrilling and adventurous. Larkya Tour starts at Kathmandu – the capital city of Nepal. After spending a full day sightseeing around Kathmandu. We will drive along the scenic highway to arrive at Soti Khola – the starting point of the trek. From Soti Khola, we begin our trek following the trail that passes through several traditional villages of Jagat, Deng, Namrung, Samagaon, and Samdo. After spending a good acclimatization day, we head towards the base camp and ascend higher to the high camp. During the trek, we will have great views of Himalayan ranges and it includes Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himalayan Ranges, Langtang Himal Range, Himalchuli, Boudha Himal, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu and other surrounding high peaks in the region. As soon as we set up our high camp, our Sherpa crew will check all the climbing gears and our health conditions. Following the footsteps and guidance of our experienced climbing experts. We will overcome several technical sections and head towards the summit of Larkya Peak. Once at the top, we can experience the magnificent views of Annapurna Himal Range, Langtang Himal Range, Himalchuli. So as, Boudha Himal, Ganesh Himal, Mt Manaslu (the 8th highest mountain in the world) and other many snow-capped peaks in the region. After spending a short quality at the summit, we will descend following the trail that goes through the villages Bhimtang and Dharapani to finally arrive at Syange.
