Greetings from Air China Kathmandu Office !

Starting November 3, Air China will introduce a seamless check-in service for passengers traveling on combined international and domestic flights from Kathmandu.

With this service, passengers who purchase an Air China ticket that includes both international and domestic segments on a single ticket can enjoy the following benefits:

· Obtain the domestic flight boarding pass directly from Air China at Kathmandu Airport.

· Have their checked luggage transferred automatically from Kathmandu to the final domestic destination.

· No need to collect luggage during the transfer at Tianfu Airport (except for items that must be declared to customs).

This service applies to Air China-operated flights with a layover time of more than 2 hours but less than 24 hours at Tianfu Airport.

**Please note: the seamless check-in service is currently available only for flights departing from Kathmandu. It is not yet available for domestic flights arriving in Kathmandu.

Due to ongoing protest in Nepal, with immediate effect, rebooking, rerouting and refund charges will be waived for all tickets issued worldwide (irrespective of fare type) on/before 09 September 2025 (original ticket issued date) for travel with Cathay Pacific confirmed booking arriving to and departing from Kathmandu (KTM) on 09 September 2025 - 12 September 2025.

Rebooking / Rerouting charges will be waived on conditions that such requests are made on/before 12 September 2025

Revised (NEW) travel date must be on/before 30 November 2025 and subject to flight availability.
