Ever wonder who really carries the weight of your Himalayan dreams?
It takes extra effort to trek at high altitudes, but our Everest Porters push through these tough mountain trails every single day.
At Trek Me Nepal, we are committed to ethical and responsible trekking.
Under a standard 2:1 ratio (one porter for two trekkers), the weight limits for porters are:
Total Recommended Load Limit: A single porter carries a combined total of 20–24 kg (about 44–53 lbs).
Per-Trekker Allocation: Each trekker in the pair is allowed to give the porter 10–12 kg (about 22–26 lbs) of their personal gear.
Pack responsibly for your next adventure to help us protect our mountain heroes!
