🕊️ Some news leaves the entire mountain community heartbroken.

We are deeply saddened by the tragic Broad Peak avalanche that claimed the lives of ten climbers, including the legendary mountaineer Nirmal "Nims" Purja.

Every expedition begins with hope, determination and love & respect for the mountains. Today, we remember those who never returned home from their that one mountain expedition.

On behalf of everyone at Shalom Treks, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the families, friends and teammates of all those who lost their lives.

May they rest in peace, and may their legacy continue to inspire generations of mountaineers.

Today, we remember Tevel Shabtay with sadness and gratitude.

Tevel joined us on the Manaslu Trek this April. Her kindness, warm smile and beautiful spirit left a lasting impression on our team and fellow trekkers.

Although our time together was only for a short part of her journey, the memories shared in the Himalayas will always remain special to us. We feel fortunate to have met her and to have been part of her adventure in Nepal.

Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends and loved ones during this difficult time.

May her soul rest in peace. 🕊️
