3 Days / 2 Nights Itinerary: Kathmandu Valley Tour & Nagarkot
Day 1: Kathmandu City Tour
Morning:
• Pashupatinath Temple:
• Nepal’s holiest Hindu temple on the banks of the Bagmati River
• Witness traditional rituals and possibly Hindu cremation ceremonies
• Boudhanath Stupa:
• One of the world’s largest stupas, sacred to Tibetan Buddhists
• Walk around the stupa with spinning prayer wheels and chanting monks
Lunch:
• Enjoy a local or Tibetan-style lunch near Boudhanath
Afternoon:
• Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple):
• Ancient Buddhist site perched on a hill overlooking Kathmandu
• Panoramic views of the entire valley
• Both Buddhist and Hindu significance
• Kathmandu Durbar Square:

Day 2: Patan & Bhaktapur – Then Nagarkot

• Beautiful medieval square, home to Krishna Mandir, Golden Temple, Hiranya Varna Mahavihar, and stunning Newari architecture
• Visit local handicraft stores
Lunch:
• Lunch in Patan (try Newari cuisine or modern cafés in Patan)
Afternoon:
• Bhaktapur Durbar Square:
• Explore the ancient city known for its well-preserved culture
• Visit 55-Window Palace, Nyatapola Temple, Dattatreya Square, and Pottery Square
• Try the famous Juju Dhau (King Curd)
Late Afternoon:
• Drive to Nagarkot (45 mins - 1 hr)
• Check-in at hotel and enjoy sunset views over the Himalayas (on clear days: Everest, Langtang, Gauri Shankar visible)

Day 3: Nagarkot Sunrise & Return
Early Morning:
• Wake up early for sunrise over the Himalayas

• Leisurely return drive to Kathmandu
