Final Day: Flight from Jomsom to Pokhara

Today marks the end of our Annapurna Circuit Trek with Tilicho Lake. We took the 6:30 am flight from Jomsom 2,720m to Pokhara, soaring above the Kali Gandaki gorge with final views of Dhaulagiri and the Mustang valley. After 13 days of high passes, alpine lakes, and remote villages, we’re back in Pokhara’s greener hills with a sense of accomplishment. Day 13: Muktinath to Jomsom via Kagbeni

We descended 13 from Muktinath 3,760m to Kagbeni 2,800m in 4 hours, stopping for lunch. The trail follows the Kali Gandaki valley through Mustang’s arid landscape and traditional villages. Views of Dhaulagiri 8,167m and Nilgiri 7,061m frame the route. Wind-swept cliffs and apple orchards mark this classic Lower Mustang section before reaching Jomsom 2,720m.

Day 12: Thorong Phedi to Muktinath via Thorong La Pass

Congratulations on successfully crossing Thorong La Pass 5,416m. Today’s 7–8 hour, 14.3km trek from Thorong Phedi 4,450m was demanding, but your determination brought you to sacred Muktinath 3,760m. We’re grateful for the trust you placed in our team throughout this high-altitude journey. Thank you for trekking with us. We look forward to welcoming you on future with new Himalayan adventures.

Today our group successfully stood on top of 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐚 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐤 (𝟔,𝟒𝟕𝟔𝐦)! The early morning alpine start and the freezing winds were all worth it to witness those breathtaking panoramic views of 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭, 𝐋𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐬𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐚 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐤. ⁣

Day 12: Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi

We trekked 7 km from Yak Kharka 4,018m to Thorong Phedi 4,450m in 3-4 hours. The trail climbs steadily through barren, high-alpine terrain with dramatic valley views. Surrounded by Gangapurna 7,455m, Khatung Kang 6,484m, and Thorong Peak 6,144m, the stark landscape builds anticipation for the pass crossing. Thin air and rugged scenery mark our final stop before Thorong La.

Annapurna Circuit Trek with Tilicho Lake Day 11: Shree Kharka to Yak Kharka

We trekked 10 kilometres from Shree Kharka 4,050m to Yak Kharka 4,018m in 4 hours. The trail passes Upper Khansar’s meadows, where we spotted blue sheep grazing against the backdrop of Annapurna II 7,937m and Gangapurna 7,455m. Alpine pastures and wide valley views made this high-altitude stretch both peaceful and scenic.

Day 10: Tilicho Lake Excursion

We hiked 5km from Tilicho Base Camp 4,140m to Tilicho Lake 4,919m in 4-5 hours over rocky, steep trail. The turquoise lake sits beneath Tilicho Peak 7,134m and Nilgiri 7,061m, with sweeping views of the Annapurna range. After exploring the shore, we returned to Base Camp for lunch. We’ve now arrived back at Tilicho Base Camp 4,140m, resting and refueling. We will continue our trek towards Shree Kharka and overnight stay there.

Day 09: Manang to Tilicho Base Camp
We have to trek 13 km from Manang 3,540m to Tilicho Base Camp 4,140m in 5-6 hours. The trail climbs past Khangsar village to Shree Kharka 4,050m, where we’ve arrived for lunch. The route offers stark alpine scenery with views of Tilicho Peak 7,134m, Nilgiri 7,061m, and Annapurna III 7,555m against a rugged, high-altitude landscape.
