Upper Dolpo Trekking is the less touristic trekking trail in western Nepal.

In relation to Lower Dolpa, very few people enter this region which is upper section of Tse-Phoksundo National park. Special permit must be obtained to trek in this region. Virgin landscape, Tibetan plateau, dry & cold surrounding are the main attraction of this trek. The northern part is particular, a home for endangered animal like Musk Deer, Snow Leopard, Blue Sheep etc. The area is well known for Himalayan herbs like Yarshagumba (half animal & half plant). The area was a popular trade route between India & Tibet until few years back. A very famous film called Caravan was featured meticulously captured the trading taken place in this region. The inner & upper part of Dolpa is fully influenced by Tibetan culture however, southern part is influenced with Hindu culture & tradition. During November to March, the residents of Ringmo village head over to lower elevations with their animals for grazing. Particularly, this area has an attraction of wild & pristine landscape, which is unlike with other parts of Nepal

Kalinchowk Bhagwati Temple (Nepali: कालिञ्चोक भगवती)[1] is a Hindu shrine in Dolkha District of Nepal. It is situated in Kalinchowk VDC in Dolkha at the altitude of 3,842 m (12,605 ft) from sea-level. It is a part of Gaurishankar Conservation Area from where two rivers Sun Kosi and Tama Kosi rivers are sourced.[2] This is one of the most exquisite destinations in Nepal at an elevation of 3,842m from sea level and offers the best Himalayan panorama. And what makes it even more interesting is that no trekking is required to reach here. Every year during winter, people visit Kalinchowk to enjoy snowfall. Likewise, the pilgrims visit Kalinchowk shrine all around the year
