Extremely heartbreaking news.

An irreparable loss to Nepal’s tourism and mountaineering community.

The tragic news that world-renowned mountaineer Nirmal Purja (Nims Dai), along with fellow climbers, lost their lives in an avalanche in the Broad Peak region of Pakistan, at an altitude of 8,047 meters, has left everyone deeply shocked and saddened.

Heartfelt tributes to Nirmal Purja and all the departed climbers, whose extraordinary contributions helped bring Nepal’s pride and identity to the attention of the world.

In this moment of profound grief, we extend our deepest condolences to the bereaved families, relatives, and well-wishers.

May their souls rest in peace.
