Behind every Everest summit is a quiet promise you don't hear in the wind.
"I got you."
Through the Icefall ladders, through the night push, through the thin air at 8000m.
This is what we do at Everest Sherpa Expedition.

This edit is dedicated to our Sherpa team and every climber who trusts us with their dream. The summit is temporary, the trust is forever.

Above the clouds. Below us, the world disappears. Only the Himalaya remains.

Makalu, Lhotse and a thousand unnamed peaks floating on a sea of white. Down in the valley, the lakes of Tibet shining blue through the clouds.

This is the view from the South Summit of Everest. No photo ever does it justice.

That thin line in the snow is not just a trail. It's early mornings, fixed ropes, and Sherpa strength making the impossible walkable for everyone who follows.
The trail fades. The courage doesn't.

This is what true Sherpa leadership looks like on Everest. A single track, fixed before sunrise, that gives hundreds after them the courage to keep going.

Yo yo from the top of the world! ๐Ÿ”๏ธ

Huge congratulations to William Sayer for standing on the summit of Mt. Everest (8,848.86m) on 18th May 2018.

That summit smile, the Nepal flag flying, prayer flags and 360ยฐ of Himalayan giants. This is what dreams are made of.

Proud of our Sherpa team who make it possible every season. Jay Sagarmatha!

On the ridge of Makalu. Focused on the rope, backed by a sea of clouds. This is what Sherpa led climbing looks like. Calm, precise, powerful.

This photo is from Makalu, 8,485m, but the standard is the same on every expedition we lead. Respect the mountain, trust the team, move with purpose.

You can summit 8000m peaks again and again, but you can never get used to this.

Every mountain shows you something new. Makalu reminded me why we keep coming back. The silence, the sea of clouds, the endless white. Some views just stay with you.

This was from our recent Makalu expedition. Even after multiple 8000m summits with Everest Sherpa Expedition, the 5th highest peak in the world still leaves us speechless.

What is one view in the mountains that has stayed with you?

Beyond Everest, there is Makalu.

Stone chortens wrapped in wind, icy streams, mist over black lakes. This is the trail to the world's 5th highest peak, raw, remote and deeply spiritual.

This is why we trek. Not for the crowds, but for the quiet.

Have you been on the wild side of the Himalayas yet? Tell us what calls you to the mountains.

The summit is not the only destination.

This is Nangkartshang Peak, 5,083m above Dingboche โ€” the acclimatization hike we do before heading to Chukhung and Island Peak Base Camp.

No ropes, no summit push. Just prayer flags, slate cairns, clouds rolling over Lhotse and Ama Dablam, and a 2 to 3 hour climb that makes your lungs work hard for views like this.

On Island Peak, acclimatization days aren't rest days. They are adventures on their own. And often, they are the moments you remember most.

Would you hike this for acclimatization?
